Ginestas is a small quiet village, population of around of 1000 inhabitants in the department of Aude. Facilities in the village include a bar, restaurant, tabac, bakery, bank, small convenience store and hairdresser. Just 3 kilometres away there are large Intermarche and Aldi supermarkets.At Narbonne there are many shopping malls and boutiques. The area is well known for its Minervois wine with numerous Chateaus in the area where this can be sampled. Ginestas is close to the Canal du Midi, Mediterranean Sea and Aude river which provide lovely aspects and trips. Narbonne-beach can be accessed in 30 minutes where there are a number of water sport facilities. The tourist area of Cap D'agde is only 45minutes away with facilities such as a water park,mini golf etc. Carcassonne, Beziers, Montpelier and Perpignan airports are all within an hour.
